March 27, 2010: Ann Arundel County Homeless Resource Day: Twenty-five dental students from the AGD student chapter at the University of Maryland volunteered at the 3rd annual Ann Arundel County Homeless Resource Day at Glen Burnie High School. They screened and provided oral hygiene instruction to over 150 adults and children from the community. In its third year, Homeless Resource Day was organized by the Anne Arundel County Executive and the County Department of Social Services. The event draws in about 400 homeless and other individuals in need. It was the largest health and human services collaboration in the county's history, with about 60 non-profit agencies participating.
