Welcome to the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry website.

The Academy of General Dentistry has been the voice of the general dentist for over 50 years. It has distinguished itself as the preeminent organization for continuing education for dentistry in general and general dentistry in particular.

Here in Maryland we pride ourselves in providing the excellent continuing education that our members demand. Whether it is a single or multiple day courses, we strive to exceed the expectations of our participants.

We fully support our members in their efforts to attain the prestigious ranks of the Academy of General Dentistry Fellows and Masters. We also encourage our members to take advantage of the opportunities that are available from our national organization including the Annual Meeting.

The AGD annual meeting will be in Philadelphia next July, so be sure to put it on your calendars. It will provide an excellent opportunity to gain more knowledge through the CE courses as well as meet new friends and reconnect with old friends.

In addition to our educational offerings, the Maryland AGD is at the forefront of monitoring activities in Annapolis that may affect general dentistry. We coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure that the citizens of Maryland are provided with the best dental care available.
