This course will start with a systematic approach to accurately analyze a patient's dental condition, including occlusion and smile deficiencies, utilizing photography and Kois diagnostic protocols. Proper occlusal diagnosis will be predictive of treatment success. Treatment options will be reviewed to achieve a successful result.
You will learn a step-by-step approach to recreating a natural dentition and smile. Techniques to create an aesthetic preview prior to advanced treatments will be reviewed.
Hands-on Learning: Each participant will receive individual technique kits shipped to their office for use in the hands-on portion of the seminar.
Course Technique Kit Components:
Anterior Six Tooth Esthetic model; Matrix Impression Material; Dental Adhesive; Universal Restorative Composite (various shades); Composite blending resin; Diamond Bur F8888; Composite Brush; Composite Instrument; All Surface Access Polishers; Mandrel; Finishing and Polishing Discs; Impression mixing tips; Dappen Dish; Microbrush; Mylar Strips, Tofflemire Matrix Band.
Required Materials (not included in kit):
This course requires the following materials be available in your operatory and are not supplied in the Hands-OnLine Technique Kit:
Impression Gun (1:1 DS 50), Compule Dispenser, X-plorer, High Speed Handpiece, Slow Speed Handpiece, Air/Water Syringe, Curing Light, Scalpel #15, Gauze, Alcohol, Tapered Chamfer Bur.
About the Speaker:
Dr. Fred Peck is a third-generation dentist practicing in Cincinnati, Ohio, for over 30 years. Dr. Peck is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Dr. Peck is an Accredited Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists. He is a Kois Center graduate, Dawson Academy graduate and a mentor for Cerecdoctors.com. He has published numerous articles and presented topics at many dental meetings on cosmetic dentistry, dental lab communication and direct resin bonding including hands-on seminars.
He is active in the Cincinnati Dental Society, Scientific Program Committee and teaches cosmetic dentistry to the dental residents at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He enjoys landscape photography.
Dr. Peck is married to Lauren and they have two sons.
