The Covid 19 virus has impacted Dentistry as a profession in many ways . Besides halting our businesses and affecting our practices, the viral pandemic has caused mental changes and confusion for our patients and dental teams.  Join us in this special series as we discuss returning to practice in the new normal. We will cover many aspects from communication to diagnostics, to direct and indirect restorative techniques, that will make our practices stronger than ever.

Part One:  Communication and Diagnostics

During this webinar, we will address communication tactics that will instill confidence in our patients and teams. We will continue into state of the art diagnostic dentistry and build the foundation that will allow everyone to exceed and succeed in day to day practice.

Course Objectives:

Participants in this course will gain knowledge in the following areas:


  • We must be right!  Caries detection revisited!

  • I don't place implants and you say I still need a CBCT?

  • Perfecting communication skills- How to effectively lose the ums and you knows!

Part Two:  Direct Restorative Dentistry -  Out With the Old and in With The New!

Dental materials are rapidly changing and we need to keep up! Join us as we discuss the truths and myths of Bioactive Materials, and show how applying some of these materials can positively impact clinical outcomes.

Course Objectives:

Participants in this course will gain knowledge in the following areas:

  • Bioactivity: Truth or Myth!

  • Silver Fluoride: Does it really work?

  • Breaking down the best: New materials for day to day dentistry

Part Three:  Indirect Restorative Dentistry -  New Materials, Lasers and Digital Dentistry 

We have come along way from rubber base, copper bands and zinc phosphate cements. Join us as we redefine current concepts in crown and bridge, simplifying day to day dentistry, and enhancing the patient experience .

Course Objectives:

Participants in this course will gain knowledge in the following areas:

  • The simplified crown prep:  How a few tips can make all the difference!

  • Diode Lasers: Do I really need one?

  • Dental Cements- What should I use for what material?

  • Digital Dentistry: Simplified uses for dental scanners!


We will feature a wine tasting in each session. As a wine lover, Dr. Kaminer will share his passion and discuss wines selected specifically for this series.  We will taste and enjoy some current releases. 

About the Speaker:

Dr. Ron Kaminer is a 1990 graduate of the State of New York (SUNY) Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kaminer has always been passionate about technology and was one of the first 100 dentists in the country to include a hard tissue Dental laser into his practice. Over the years Dr. Kaminer has taught Dental Lasers, technology and minimally invasive Dentistry to thousands of dentists worldwide. He sits on the Board of Catapult Education, is a frequent contributor to Mentor Magazine, sits on the editorial board of Dental Product Shopper and acts as a clinical consultant to numerous Dental manufacturers. While doing all of the above, Dr. Kaminer practices full time in both his offices in Hewlett and Oceanside N.Y. focusing on Minimally Invasive and Digital Dentistry. He is a Fellow of The Academy of General Dentistry, member of the American Dental Association, and member of The Academy of Laser Dentistry.
