Welcome to the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry. We are the only organization that is exclusively dedicated to representing the interests and serving the needs of general dentists throughout the state.  Our mission is to serve the needs and represent the general dentists, promote the oral health of the public, and to foster continued proficiency of general dentists through quality continuing dental education to better serve the public.  General dentists are the primary care providers for patients of all ages and are responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, management, and overall coordination of services related to patients' oral health needs.  With membership throughout the state, the Maryland Academy of General Dentistry works to help guide the journey of Fellowship, Mastership, and Lifelong Learning in order to provide quality dental care in general practice.​
