This comprehensive seminar provides a practical, evidence-based approach to understanding and managing the dental aspects of sleep-disordered breathing and obstructive sleep apnea. Through a balanced combination of didactic instruction and hands-on participation, attendees will explore the fundamentals of sleep biology, airway anatomy, and the critical role dentists play in identifying and managing patients with sleep-related breathing disorders.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of craniofacial relationships and their influence on airway health, along with practical training in patient screening, evaluation, and interdisciplinary collaboration with physicians. The course emphasizes hands-on experience with a variety of oral appliance therapies, including appliance selection, fitting, adjustment, and troubleshooting.

With a strong focus on clinical applicability, attendees will leave with the confidence and tools needed to incorporate dental sleep medicine into their practices in a predictable, ethical, and patient-centered manner, ultimately improving patient outcomes, quality of life, and long-term health.
Course Objectives:
Participants in this seminar will be able to:
