February 18

Composite Confidence:
Foundations That Actually
Hold Up in the Real World

Thursday, February 18
7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Virtual

Composite dentistry is part of everyday practice, but confidence in its long-term predictability is not always there. This engaging, real-world focused lecture revisits the foundational principles of direct composite restorations and challenges outdated assumptions that may be limiting clinical success.

Dr. John Gammichia draws on over 30 years of private practice experience to break down what truly matters in adhesion, material selection, isolation, and clinical technique for Class I and Class II restorations. Participants will explore how modern minimally invasive philosophies can be applied effectively and when they may fall short in real-world clinical situations.

This course is designed to strengthen clinical confidence, improve consistency, and create a practical framework for achieving predictable restorative outcomes in everyday dentistry.

Course Objectives:

Participants in this course will be able to:

  • Describe current adhesion principles and their impact on restoration longevity

  • Identify technique-related factors that influence Class I and Class II outcomes

  • Apply minimally invasive restorative concepts appropriately in daily practice

  • Evaluate material selection for improved predictability

  • Recognize opportunities to improve efficiency and clinical outcomes with composite restorations
