Course Description:

The advantages of one appointment endodontics are many, including less post-operative pain, fewer emergency visits and greater patient satisfaction. This procedure can be easily learned and performed by both general dentists and endodontists. Drawing on his extensive experience of over 35 years in clinical practice, Dr. Bey outlines endodontic diagnosis, case selection, quick and effective anesthesia, the creation of a glide path, determination of working length, the management of curved and calcified canals and the location and treatment of the MB2. The advantages of a new advanced nickel titanium rotary instrument used in reciprocation and apical negative pressure irrigation will also be addressed. A discussion and instruction on 30 obturation will conclude the course. This exciting multimedia program offers solutions for treating straight forward and complex endodontic cases in a single visit.

Course Objectives:

Participants in the seminar will:

  • Learn how and when vital and nonvital teeth can be completed in one visit with greater success than a multiple visit procedure.

  • Learn instrumentation and irrigation techniques that allow for effective root canal disinfection.

  • Identify the advantages of using apical negative pressure irrigation.

  • Learn the use of a cordless 3-dimensional root canal obturation system: obturation without the frustration.

  • Takeaway game-changing solutions to increase endodontic efficiency.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Garry Bey is in private practice in New York and New Jersey, specializing in endodontics. He graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Biology in 1976. He received his D.D.S. degree from the NYU College of Dentistry in 1979, and completed his endodontic residency training in endodontics at the NYU College of Dentistry in 1982. Dr. Bey lectures both nationally and internationally and has conducted classes with dentists from over 30 countries. He is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, the New York State Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and he is a Past President of the Rockland County Dental Society.
